After writing last week’s blog post I though why stop here? I love my other bushes from Real Techniques too!
After admiring these brushes for ages seeing them used in so many YouTube tutorials, I was so excited when my mum bought me two starter sets for Christmas last year. Each set came in its own little case which to be honest I don’t use as I have them out on display in my little brush pots.
The first set is the eye shadow kit, it came with four brushes to create the perfect look. I use the Base Shadow Brush to layer on colour from my eyeshadow and then go back in with the Deluxe Crease Brush, I love this brush it works perfectly to blend colours together and adding depth to your creases.
Next up the angled Brow Brush, I love this brush for applying my brow powder from The Body Shop. The slightly stronger bristles make them perfect for precision application and creating great brow angles!
Lastly, is the little lip brush, I love this one for touching up my lipstick following lipliner, it’s great for a bit more of a perfect application for when you’re going ‘out out’.
The second kit was a flawless base kit, Ok I love love love this brush, It does need some TLC though, think i’ve over used it a little needs a bit of a clean up! It’s soft wide range of bristles make it perfect for powder application. I use this brush as a buffing brush for my Bare Essentials powder (check out my previous post). It’s a brush that is just nice to use, another one to swirl around your face to buff your makeup on.
Next up is the contour brush, I love this brush for creating a perfectly blended powder contour, a must have for your makeup bag! It’s so soft and gorgeously tapered to effortlessly blend along your cheek bones.
Also in this kit is a pointed foundation brush which again is perfectly soft, all these brushes are soft and gorgeous! This brush is great for concealer touch up and around the difficult nose area. Having the bristles tapered into a tight flat point makes it so easy to work on those hard to reach creases.
Last but not least is the tiny detailer brush, I love this little beauty for precision application of concealer on breakouts, having the tiny soft bristles makes covering up red marks and blemishes so easy. I also love the length of the bristles being quite long creates a softer application and easy to blend into the rest of your base makeup.
Overall I love these brushes and can’t wait to purchase the finishing kit soon, they’ve also released their new PowderBleu collection which I wont lie looks gorgeous!
Has anyone tried them yet?
